Spector’s former weakness for Pringles and Cheetos has waned, as he now understands the health risks associated with these ultra-processed salty snacks. These foods, laden with fat, sugars, and salt, can lead to overeating due to their hyper-palatability and rapid digestion, bypassing the body’s satiety signals.
Similarly, sugary breakfast cereals are off Spector’s menu, given their artificial nature and high sugar content. These cereals, with their multitude of ingredients, can trigger addictive responses in the brain, making them challenging to resist.
